This course covers the Linux distributions CentOS and Ubuntu. Starting from basic handling of both Linux systems, participants also learn to perform advanced configurations and administrations. At the end of the course, participants are ready to tackle the LPIC-1 certification.

The focus of this course is on working with the command line (shell), which users can use very versatilely under Linux, as well as understanding the underlying concepts. These include user and process management as well as network basics and configuration, which are essential for building a security infrastructure, for example.
